A Day for Gratitude
Happy Thankgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving, friends!
We’ll all have different Thanksgivings planned today, but overall, this is a day to stop—to CHOOSE to have an attitude of gratitude for what God has done for us, in us, and through us.
My friend Traci summed up Thanksgiving perfectly:
“True life confessions. My world can be messy, chaotic, frustrating, scary, and sometimes feels like an uncontrolled train blazing down the tracks.
“Today will not be the picture perfect Thanksgiving that I tend to create in my heart and mind. But it will be exactly what it is. And that is enough.
“In the spirit of it all, my family chooses to keep moving forward with dedication to each other.
“We scramble, dodge, weave, and lean in together. We yearn for some relationships that can’t seem to find footing. We find strength in some relationships that can instantly shore us up.
“No matter what, we are stronger than we believe and loved more than we are often willing to embrace, and, for this, I am grateful.
“May you feel gratitude in this day. 💜”
